Challenge #8 - MMF Smooth Orbit Traps Challenge

 

  1. The challenge is to produce a one layer image using mmf.ulb-Smooth Orbit Traps.

  2. You may not use any image transformations (UXFs).

  3. You may use any main fractal formula (UFM) at any location/magnification.

  4. Your single layer must use mmf.ulb:Smooth Orbit Traps plugged into Standard.ulb:Generic Coloring(Gradient).

  5. You must be using smoothing - either divergent, convergent or both - correctly i.e. the smoothing parameters must be set correctly for the main formula. This generally means just ensuring that ""Auto-power" is enabled and that the bailout parameter is set correctly. When auto-power is enabled the "Power/Degree/Exponent" is only required if the lowest iteration band/s are visible (i.e. bailout on 1st or 2nd iteration).

  6. You must be using one of the Trap Shapes from mmf.ulb.

  7. You must be using one of the "Smooth" Trap Modes from mmf.ulb.

  8. You must use texturing - specifically you must use mmf.ulb:MMF Alternative fBm Trap Shape for the texturing. The texturing must be making some contribution to the final image.

  9. You must use mmf.ulb:MMF Colour Selector as the Trap Color Mode but you may *not* use any of the "Image xxx" methods as the "Colour By".

"Add the smooth iteration count" must be enabled and be making a contribution to your image (in other words the image must look different if it is disabled).
